Fashion from what already exists.

DORNA MILAN creates limited womenswear from recycled, reclaimed, and responsibly sourced materials. The work begins with waste, but the result must feel desirable first: sculptural, modern, and made to stay in rotation.

01

Material with a past life.

We prioritise recycled, reclaimed, deadstock, and lower-impact fabrics where they serve the silhouette, handfeel, and finish of the garment.

02

Limited by design.

Small-batch production helps us reduce excess inventory and work around available material streams instead of creating more for the sake of more.

03

Made to be kept.

Draped dresses, sharp separates, and fluid co-ords are designed beyond one wear, one post, or one season.

Less waste. More desire.

For us, circular fashion is not a compromise. It is a design challenge: how to turn what already exists into pieces with presence, movement, and a reason to be kept.

Recover

Existing material is redirected.

We look for material streams that can be transformed instead of discarded.

Rework

Fabric becomes form.

Texture, drape, opacity, and movement guide every cut and silhouette.

Release

Drops stay focused.

Limited quantities keep each edit considered and reduce unnecessary overproduction.

Rewear

Pieces are made to return.

The goal is a wardrobe with repetition, care, and emotional longevity.

Our Materials

Materials matter, from source to silhouette.

The fabrics we choose shape not only how a garment looks and feels, but also the impact it leaves behind. As part of our circular luxury philosophy, we continuously work toward incorporating more responsible, recycled, and consciously sourced materials wherever possible.

Our approach is centered around creating pieces that feel elevated, timeless, and designed to last, moving away from disposable fashion and toward more intentional wardrobes.

We know sustainability is an ongoing journey, and while we are not perfect, we are committed to making better choices as we grow.

Certified standards

Certified and responsible materials.

We work with fabrics and suppliers that align with globally recognised material and safety standards wherever possible. Our collections may include fabrics certified or aligned with standards such as:

  • OEKO-TEX® Standard 100: textiles tested for harmful substances and produced with stricter human-ecological safety standards.
  • GRS (Global Recycled Standard): applied to recycled materials such as recycled polyester and recycled nylon to help ensure traceability and responsible processing practices across the supply chain.
  • OCS (Organic Content Standard): used for fabrics containing certified organic cotton fibres, helping verify responsibly sourced organic material content.
  • LENZING™ ECOVERO™ and TENCEL™ fibres: responsibly sourced cellulosic fibres derived from certified wood sources using lower-impact production processes compared to conventional alternatives.

These certifications and material standards help support greater transparency, accountability, and more responsible sourcing practices within the fashion supply chain.

Recycled fabrics

Recycled fibres with a refined finish.

Wherever possible, we incorporate recycled materials into our collections to help reduce unnecessary textile waste and dependence on virgin resources. Our collections may include:

  • Recycled polyester
  • Recycled nylon
  • Recycled cotton blends
  • Responsible viscose alternatives
  • Conscious synthetic blends

By repurposing existing materials into new textiles, recycled fabrics can help reduce landfill waste, resource consumption, and environmental impact compared to conventional alternatives.

Our recycled materials are selected with a focus on softness and comfort, durability and longevity, fluid drape and elevated finish, and long-term wearability.

We continue to explore innovative recycled and lower-impact fabric blends that align with both our design language and our long-term circular vision.

Less waste

Smaller production, less excess.

We intentionally avoid large-scale overproduction. Many of our collections are produced in smaller batches to:

  • Reduce excess inventory
  • Minimize unnecessary waste
  • Encourage more mindful consumption
  • Improve production efficiency

This slower and more intentional production approach allows us to focus on quality over quantity.

Packaging

Responsible presentation.

We continuously work toward reducing unnecessary packaging waste wherever possible. As part of our evolving sustainability journey, we aim to:

  • Minimize excess plastic usage
  • Explore more recyclable and conscious packaging alternatives
  • Reduce unnecessary shipping and production waste

Luxury and responsibility should coexist, both in the garment and the experience surrounding it.

Longevity

Quality over disposability.

We do not believe fashion should be worn once and forgotten.

DORNA MILAN pieces are designed with longevity in mind through versatile silhouettes, elevated construction, and timeless styling intended to remain relevant beyond seasonal trends.

We encourage conscious purchasing, thoughtful styling, and extended garment use as part of a more responsible relationship with fashion.

Circular luxury

A more intentional way to dress.

To us, circular luxury is about creating fashion with greater intention. It means:

  • Producing more thoughtfully
  • Designing pieces intended to last
  • Exploring recycled and responsible materials
  • Reducing unnecessary excess
  • Encouraging slower, more conscious consumption

We are continuously learning, evolving, and improving our material choices and production practices as DORNA MILAN grows.

Because the future of fashion should feel as responsible as it looks.

Dorna circular luxury

Style with substance, without the slogan.

Sustainability is part of the construction, not the whole conversation. The first job of every Dorna piece is still to make you want to wear it.

Materials matter, from source to silhouette.

The fabrics we choose shape not only how a garment looks and feels, but also the impact it leaves behind. As part of our circular luxury philosophy, we continuously work toward incorporating more responsible, recycled, and consciously sourced materials wherever possible.

DORNA MILAN is considered fashion, circular by design: limited womenswear built from recycled, reclaimed, and responsibly sourced inputs, then refined into pieces with modern luxury, movement, and long-term wearability.

Our Story

Modern luxury, made from what already exists.

Dorna begins with the belief that sustainability should not make fashion feel less desirable. The garment still has to move beautifully, feel refined, and earn its place in a wardrobe.

That is why our material choices are paired with restrained production, sculptural silhouettes, and a slower relationship with dressing. We create with a circular fashion future in mind, but the final piece must stand on design first.

Recycled fabrics

Recycled fibres with a refined finish.

Wherever possible, we incorporate recycled materials to help reduce unnecessary textile waste and dependence on virgin resources. Our collections may include recycled polyester, recycled nylon, recycled cotton blends, responsible viscose alternatives, and conscious synthetic blends.

These materials are selected for softness, comfort, durability, fluid drape, elevated finish, and long-term wearability.

Small batches

Less excess, more intention.

We intentionally avoid large-scale overproduction. Smaller runs help reduce excess inventory, unnecessary waste, and the pressure to create more than a collection needs.

This approach lets us focus on quality over quantity and build around available material streams.

Longevity

Quality over disposability.

We do not believe fashion should be worn once and forgotten. DORNA MILAN pieces are designed with versatile silhouettes, elevated construction, and styling that can move beyond seasonal trends.

Packaging

Responsible presentation.

We continue to reduce unnecessary packaging waste by minimizing excess plastic use, exploring recyclable alternatives, and reducing avoidable production and shipping waste wherever possible.

Design process

From material limit to design language.

Working with recycled and responsible materials means listening to the fabric first. Texture, weight, opacity, stretch, and drape guide the cut, so each piece feels intentional rather than forced into a trend.

The goal is a wardrobe with repetition, care, and emotional longevity: pieces that come back into rotation because they still feel relevant.
